Both grandmothers are keeping Sydney dressed in style. Her dress was given to her by Nana Sue and bloomers were compliments of Nan. Both with a cupcake and one candle. So cute!
Her "smash cake" was also made by Nana Sue. It was carrot cake (healthy) with icing (delicious)!
Good friends Uncle Bobby and Aunt Cathy came all the way from Tuscaloosa for the party with a hand decorated present for Sydney. They haven't missed an important event yet!
Present time*: Slide from G-Daddy and Nana Sue (Required some assembly - which cannot be done without a cold beer - clearly!) 
Wagon from Jeff, Jen, Grayson, and Harper. Unable to attend but their present was a big hit. Sydney has gotten in her wagon almost every day since her party and now says "wa wa" for wagon. 
Notice, she is clapping for herself.
Tunnel from Uncle Mike and Aunt Anne. After a few tries, she realized you cannot walk through the tunnel you have to crawl. 
Here's the crowd that came to celebrate. We put together a short video of pictures from her first year. Again she clapped when she saw herself on TV. She must be a first child!
