And steadily getting closer to standing alone and before we know it walking. She is pulling up on everything and quite proud of herself when she does. No one will believe me, but for the sake of documentation, she stood up without any support for a solid five Mississippi's on Wednesday. William's Mom was there and is my witness. She may not do it again for another month (although, I doubt it). Here are a few shots of our proud almost-nine-month-old.

- Second ear infection
- Bites of grilled cheese, pasta, and pancakes
- Lots of "talking" (i.e. "mamamama" "bababababa" "dadadadada"
- Taking notice of Sydney's toys and favorite things
- Two naps a day
- Weekend (a full 3 nights) at Nan and Pop's house
- Still only 2 teeth
- First days of Mom's Day Out
- And in Sydney's words: "Brooklyn growing some new hair."
